Hydro-Vac Technician/Laborer
Job duties & responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assisting vacuum truck operator by collecting & assembling necessary equipment
- Operate vacuum unit and associated equipment in a safe, responsible manner
- Operate wash gun and vacuum dig pipes to perform excavation/cleaning of basins
- Remove/replace manhole covers (approx 50-80lb)
- Ability to lift dig pipes off holding racks (20lbs)
- Safely operate high pressure jetter hose to jet blocked pipes and culverts
- Taking photos
- Laboring on non-vacuum excavation jobs
- Assist with pipe inspections (CCTV & push cameras)
Pay rate of $18-24/hr based on experience.
Experience in excavation or related field preferred. Will consider assisting candidate in obtaining CDL if interested.
Vacuum Truck Driver/Operator
If you have your CDL but are looking to have time out of the truck doing new things as well, this may be the perfect fit!
On-the-job training will be provided.
Year-round position, potential for plenty of overtime!
- Meet at shop in the morning
- Driving vacuum truck to and from job location
- Operate vacuum unit and associated equipment in a safe, responsible manner
- Operate pressure washer and vacuum dig pipes to perform excavation/cleaning
- Removing manhole covers and performing basin cleaning using vacuum and wash gun
- Safely operate high pressure water jetter to jet blocked pipes and culverts
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Responsible for transporting and offloading materials at appropriate locations
- Comply with all safety requirements and DOT regulation
- Complete pre-trip inspections
- Complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Occasional dump truck driving & assisting on excavation jobs (excavation experience a plus)
- We also perform CCTV camera mainline pipe inspections, training can be provided if this interests you, but is not required!
Tanker endorsement needed within 30 days of hire

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
